Places to visit in Cameron Highland

Hi guys I don't know to talk about so I'm going to share you guys about interesting places to visit when you're in Cameron Highland. You can pretty much say that I know Cameron Highland by heart.

The first place you need to visit is Lavender Garden.

The view there is breathtaking and is full with flowers. On top of that, there also flowers that were planted by the local people such as sunflower, rose and many more. The view is very relaxing.

 

You also need to try their signature Lavender ice cream and Strawberry cake.

Next is of course the infamous BOH Tea Estate. A lot of people come and shooting film there because of the views. You can relax while sipping tea while viewing the farm.

If you feel like picking fresh Strawberries, you can go to Kg. Taman Sedia. Many people buy strawberries there. You can negotiate with the seller.

If you're hungry for breakfast, you can stop by at Nasi Lemak Sambal Strawberry Taman Abang.

And lastly, if you want to eat steamboat or shellout, you can visit Restoran Fauzi Steambot. It's the best among the best because my dad owns the restaurant hahaha.

Get to know me - Alief

Hi today I'm going to share a little bit about myself.

I went to SMK Wangsa Melawati. I can pretty much say that I know all the Form 5's boys. We're all very close and always did activities together. Okay so my hobby is actually dancing. I really love to dance and I'm passionate about it. Whenever I'm bored at home I will play songs through the speaker to dance. I love to choreograph dance move during my free time. It is quite difficult but if you do a lot of practice it'll be easier step by step.

When I was in high school, I did a performance for Teacher's Day. You can watch it here

I had a dance group. I was pretty damn good in dancing. Other than dancing, I played volleyball. Our team always won the first place. In volleyball, there is a few basic skills that we need to practice. For example, basic stance, passing, setting and underhand service. We need to master these moves first before moving on to next stage.

Get to know me - Botak

Hi everyone. Botak here. So today I'm going to talk about myself.

My name is Muhammad Amir Faiz bin Mohd Arif. I'm 18 years old and currently studying in KPTM Bangi. I went to Highschool Muar for 5 years. Highchool Muar is an all boys school. 

A little bit about me, I like to play football and rugby during my free time. I used to play it for my school. I was awarded the best player and my school won gold medal for football competition and as for rugby, my school won the second place and we appreciate it. But it was good while it last. When I was in form 5, my ankle were injured and I couldn't play football and rugby for 3 months. The football tournament were around the corner and I was so down because I couldn't play the tournament. My coach offered me to watch the game. I was happy because I was able to watch my school team played football and did their best.

When the rugby tournament is getting closer, my ankle were getting better. I spent my time in practise to find comfort, energy. My school managed to won the first medal during the tournament  and we were so happy because we did our very best from the year before.

After that, my school stays as a winner in all of the co-curriculum activities. I hope my juniors will keep the school's name soar high.

Highland Tower

Hello everyone it's Alief here. Today I'm going to share a story about Highland Tower.

Highland Tower was built on 1974 until 1982. It is an apartment that made up from 3 block and each block has 12 floors. Other than that, it was told that the place is the most popular place for all of the wealthy men to hide their mistress. After 10 years it was built, one of the building collapsed due to non-stop heavy rain for 10 days straight and because of the poor drainage system and the soil there.

During the event, the search and rescue team only managed to save 3 people that is 2 adults and a baby. From the investigation, the authorities revealed that victims were 48 where some of them are Malaysian and the rest of them are foreigners. 

After a few years the building were abandoned, a lot of weird things there. One of the popular stories about Highland tower is about a teenager named Afiq and a taxi driver and mysterious women riding the taxi. There's a story that during the event, there were two guys dressed in 'Jubah Putih' standing while looking at the landslide and also about a woman that dreamed about the event a day before it happened. Till now, the building are left abandoned and there was no action to collapse the building.

On 31st October 2013, a horror film was made inspired by the building, Highland Tower. It is about a group of people went to investigate the building until paranormal activity happened. It was told that all of the footage in the film was real.

Highland Tower is still standing still and were not touched due to unavoidable reasons.

IT assignments again

Greetings everyone ! Hanis here. 

So after a week from our last shoot for our IT assignment, we're again at the Taman Saujana Hijau to shoot two last scene. But Alip and Botak didn't arrive yet so me, Fiza and Hanna decided to went out for lunch. We ate at Boat Noodle near PKNS.

Okay so we were done with our lunch I picked up Alip and Botak from the hostel and drove there.

Once we have arrived there, we went to our last shooting place and set up the place. I was the director and it was so hard to keep up with them I tell you. We had to retake our scene because they kept on laughing especially Botak and Fiza. When these two meet it's like when tornado met a volcano. They couldn't stop laughing at their own lame jokes. I can't lah with these two.

After we've done with the shooting we went to my house for dinner. And while waiting for the dinner, I introduced them to my family. I also introduced Botak and Alip to my brother. The decided to play Fifa.

Hi it's Botak here.

Today is the most sad day for us. The five of us went to TBS to send Andy. During in the car, we tried to talk as much as we can because we won't see her again. After we arrived at TBS, all of us were sad but we hope Andy will lead a successful life.

After we sent her off, the four of us went to Taman Saujana Hijau in Putrajaya for out IT assignments. The place is so beautiful.

We choose to finish our assignment but unfortunately Andy wasn't there with us. My scene had to be cut a lot of times because I couldn't stop laughing. Morever with Kbob. Lastly, my scene turned out quite good. Thanks to our beloved director and editor, Hanis for keeping up with me.

We had to shoot about 5 Incredible Laptop Life Hacks so it wasn't that hard. But we managed to shoot 3 scenes. Not including how many times we had to retake hahaha. After wrapping up we decided to take a picture together.

Another 2 scene will be done in college. But I told them to do again at the same place. So, on Sunday we will go again to Taman Saujana Hijau. So yeah that's all.

Sad

Hi, Fiza here.

After around 3 months, me, Hanis and Andy became roomates, we can feel the love between each other. Not in the weird way ok. The three of us always spends out time together, eat together, going out together and finishes our assignments together. We're inseparable.

One day, Andy suddenly told us out of nowhere that she wanted to quit from studying. Hanis and I felt sad. She never told us that she wanted to quit. We were the last one to know. The moment Hanis knew that, she was outraged and got mad. She didn't even talk to Andy for two days. The reason why she quits is unknown. Andy is like the nicest person I've ever known. She never hurt our feelings. She's very humble and loving and also quite funny lah.

About two months ago I was able to bring her to Cameron Highland a.k.a my place. I took her to the tea farm and went sightseeing there. My dad own a restaurant there so we went to eat at my family's restaurant. She was so happy that time. The three of us is inseparable. But what can I do, she quitted already.

Anyway, if Andy is reading this blog, I just you to know that me, Hanis, Botak and Alip felt sad when you left us. Andy, if you feel like studying here again, we welcome you.

First day pt. 3

Hi ! Fiza's taking over here.

Today I'm going to share my experience about my first day in KPTM Bangi. On the registration day, I was afraid because I don't really know many people. I'm from Cameron and there's only 2 high school friends that I know. One of them is in the same course as I do and the other one is in Sport Management.

During the first day of orientation week, there's a girl that asked for tissue from me while sobbing. That girl is Andy, my roommate. The orientation is so boring that I slept the whole day. I also got to know new people. My intake's orientation were so bored and there isn't any interesting activity. But I'm so happy that I got to know with new people from across the state.

My perspectives changed 360 degrees when I touch my foot in KPTM Bangi. The way the lecturers teach is different from high school. Here, we need to be independent and be more mature. My classmates is very sporting and sometimes they got excited after knowing that I live in Cameron Highland. And sometimes I brought strawberries for them. Hehehe.

First day pt. 2

Hello guys it's Andy here. Today I'm going to share you guys about the first day here in KPTM. I'm from Johor so when I first arrived here, the atmosphere is different. On the registration day, everything went well. After that, I went to the hostel and registered my room. My roomates are Norafiza and Hanis. At first I thought it will be boring to live with them.

During the orientation week, I was feeling unwell and on the first day of the orientation, it was my birthday. I was feeling very sad that time. I did recall asking Fiza for tissue and I was crying that time. She didn't even give the tissue and just laughed at me. Ish this girl.

A week after that, we were divided in sections and I was in the same section as my roomates.

I got to know a lot of people from different states. They're all so nice and friendly. But yeah. KPTM Bangi is too far from my home. But I'm glad all of my friends here are very friendly.

First day

Hi guys it's Hanis here. So today I'm going to talk about my experience when I first arrived here in KPTM.

Okay so I depart from my home quite late because I'm from Kajang so it's not that far. When I arrived, I went to the hall with my mom and as soon I arrived there it's super duper crowded. I was told by one of the facilitator there to que. So I que with my dad and it was so freaking hot and I was sweating like hell. My mom were resting under the tree near the hall.

As soon as my turn came I was told to register in the hall and thank god the hall is cold. I registered my course and my room. There, I met Hanna. She said hi to me first. I didn't because I'm quite shy and awkward around people who I don't know. I learned that she's from Kelantan and she's also in the same course as me. So yeah after I  was done with registering, my parents and I went to Desasiswa to unpack all of my stuffs. When I arrived there we had to que to get our keys at the open hall and it was so pack with students and so hot.

After all those were done I went to my room at floor 2 with my parents. At first I was quite disappointed with my room honestly because it was quite small than what I expected. Okay so move on I unpacked half of my stuffs and then I heard the door open and my roomate went in and we greeted each other. After unpacking my stuffs, I said goodbye to my parents. I didn't cry because my house is quite near and I can go home anytime that I want. And then I get to know both of my roomate, Fiza and Andy.

So that's all about my first day here in KPTM. There wasn't and interesting event that happened.

ALL ABOUT US

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone ! 

This is our very first post here on blog and our very first time having a blog. It will take quite some time to get used to this. Okay!!! Wanna know about us ?? So there's 5 of us  and here are short introduction about us. First and foremost is about our group leader. 

His name is Alief Imran bin Mohd Amrin. Born on 24 June 1999.Live in Residensi Bistaria, Ukay Perdana Impian. We decided to choose him as a leader because he as a leadership traits.When he was in high school he was  very active in several competition such as choral speaking competition, one of the player of volleyball, and the special one is he's super expert in dancing. Our leader hope is to perform well in every examination and get 4 flat for every semester and he wants to make his parents proud of him. 

Next is Muhammad Amir Faiz Bin Muhd Arif. Born on 19 August 1999, he's from Muar, Johor. He has a very special nickname. People like to call him "botak". Botak is the only child in his family. He likes to play futsal and handball. He represent Johor in rugby,football, and softball. Such an active student.. But we still wonder why he choose to study in Business Management. hrmmm let's check the reason later. His dream is to be a great student and once he achieve great result in his education, he wants to help his friends to succeed like him.

Next is Andi Nuraliah binti Mohd Faizal. She was born on 1st July 1999. She came from Pontian, Johor. She also represent Johor in National Netball Championship. Andy's dream is once she graduates in her education successfully, she wants to open her own business to help her parents in the future. 

Next is Norafiza Binti Shafie. She was born on 9th May 1999. She lives in Cameron Highland,Pahang. She once represented Perak in National Netball Championship. She also won several national public speaking competition in her high school. She wants to perform well in every semester and wants to be a billionaire one day. 

Last but not least is about Nurhanis Athirah binti Mohd Khairul. Born on 27th May 1999 in well known Satay region, Kajang. She's quite good in acting. She used to join school theater club in her high school and won first place in essay writing contest in her high school. She's also very obsessed with her cats. And she's quite good in playing musical instruments such as guitar and keyboard.
